Qingdao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Steel Casting Co., Ltd. is located in Qingdao. It was originally known as Steel Casting Branch of Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works founded in May, 1938, which was the fixed-point production enterprise about Locomotive & Rolling Stock Parts for Ministry of Railway. After systematic reform, it is registered as a Limited company in August, 2007, keeping and inheriting the original production resources and product qualification. After building the new plant, it has upgraded equipment and expanded the production capacity.
There are 430 employees including 5 senior engineers and 25 technicians. It covers an area of 93,000 square meters and the floor area of 40,000 square meters, with the registered capital of ¥ 8 million.
The company is mainly engaged in the rolling stock, the orbital transportation, the ships, construction machinery and equipment and project machinery production. It is a comprehensive enterprise with the ability of cast steel, the special casting and machining. The company has the annual production capacity of 10,000~12,000 tons of casting steel including 1,500~2,000 tons investment casting. It can produce carbon steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel and special high alloy steel castings. The products meet the national standard, railway, mechanical standards, and the United States AAR, ASTM, German DIN, Japanese JIS, international UIC, European EN and other national and international standard quality requirements.
The company has a complete physical and chemical testing, nondestructive testing and quality control measures. There are more than 30 full-time inspectors. There are many kinds of testing equipment and the testing process is complete. It has been approved and certified by Shanghai Quality System Audit Center for ISO9000:2000, DB and EN15085.
The products are sold to China, Europe, North America, Australia,Africa and so on. The main customers are the Chinese Ministry of Railways, the Dalian Heavy Industry, the German DB, Europe Bombadier, NorthAmerica Bombadier, German Simens, Kawasaki Heavy Industry and other engineering & machinery companies.
